Origins: The quietest card in the Fire affinity. Ember Cat hunts alone, moves without sound, and wins rounds through timing rather than raw output. The Power stat is low but it chooses its moments carefully, and a well-positioned Ember Cat in a deck of slower Fire cards is worth considerably more than its numbers suggest.
Finishing Move: Smoulder Pounce: Drops from height into a target, landing with enough residual heat to scorch on contact. Doesn't roar. Doesn't warn. Just arrives.
Synergy & Rivalry: Works best behind heavier Fire cards that draw attention – Ember Sage, Ember Wolf. Struggles against Earth's Root Bear, which absorbs the pounce without moving.
