Origins: Dune Fox is the Earth affinity's answer to the question of what happens when ground-type creatures develop Speed. It operates on the border between Earth and the more arid territories, where the ground is loose and movement is different from the deep soil. A 2/3 stat line with terrain awareness that makes it considerably more agile than the Earth average.
Finishing Move: Sand Scatter: Kicks up a wall of dune sand on approach, obscuring positioning and arriving through the cloud before the opponent has adjusted. The sand keeps moving after the Fox has passed.
Synergy & Rivalry: The Speed contribution in an Earth deck that would otherwise lag on tiebreakers. Air's Cloud Fox is its affinity rival – both are fox-type cards operating on the edge of their native territory, and the ongoing dispute about which one has mastered their environment more completely has never been resolved.
